Teens Talk Television

Teens Talk TV

Students getting answers to the questions they want to ask.

Slated to launch on the City of Bowie's (Prince George's County, MD) Public Access Channel 11/77 in the fall of 2020, Teens Talk Television has been created to lift up and include youth voices in conversations about the many and varied challenges and successes they will encounter on their journey to college, work and life. This half-hour recorded interview-style show will present a variety of stories, perspectives, and discussions between high school-aged youth, members of the community, and special guests.

To celebrate the upcoming release of Teens Talk, we will be launching #PGCSeniorsSzn, an online campaign to capture the voices of Prince George's County graduating high school seniors as they navigate their milestone journey, differently due to COVID-19. From May 15 - June 5, using #PGCSeniorsSzn, graduating high school seniors will be able to enter a two-minute or less video on social media highlighting positive experiences they have had since COVID-19 for a chance to win $200.

Watch our kickoff chat with community partner Council Member Todd Turner, (D-4), interns Madison Harris and Solange Muller, and In Reach's Executive Director, Toni Smith.
