Connecting Youth with Seasoned Professionals
The Opportunity Knocks Career Virtual Mentoring Program is a six-month, one‑to‑one mentoring experience connecting young adults (18+) with established professionals who are willing to share insight, guidance, and real‑world career perspective.
This pilot program, launching in September 2026, is designed for mentors who want to make a meaningful, manageable commitment while helping youth explore career options, build confidence, and take practical steps toward their future.
Why Become a Mentor?
As a mentor, you will:

Support a youth navigating career exploration and goal setting

Participate in a structured, time‑bound pilot with clear expectations
Mentors will be required to meet virtually with one mentee at minimum twice per month for at least 1 hour per meeting over a six‑month period. Training will be provided.
