Organizational Description

​

For over 25 years, In Reach, Inc., has served as a vital bridge for Prince George’s County youth, navigating the high-stakes transition from adolescence to adulthood. While our legacy began in K–12, our focus has evolved to meet the urgent needs of 'Opportunity Youth' (ages 16–24), a demographic often underserved by traditional systems.

 

We believe that a successful transition into adulthood is impossible without emotional resilience. By cultivating an environment rich in partnerships and shared resources, we integrate Literacy + Learning with Health + Well-Being to move beyond simple service delivery.

 

Through the Teens Talk Network and the Opportunity Knocks Career Exploration Mentoring Program, we champion the limitless potential of youth. We provide guidance and platforms for the self-discovery they need to elevate their voices, discover their strengths, and build the confidence to thrive. We don’t just prepare youth for a career; we empower them to command their own futures and lead their communities.
